IWC 3767.08 wrist watches news:
Since Tudor is produced by Rolex I ask my question here; When did Tudor first start using the 2824-2 movement? I can't find it on Google. Thanks
Hello,I know this has been asked on other forums. I am trying to decide between the 5712A and the 5726. I like them both, however, the advantage of 5712 is that it is thinner and it has blue dial. On the other hand, the 5726 has the AC which is very nice. What is your opinion? Which you think is also more collectable? Thanks for the input!
Well, actually, I love the watch in question - and that's the problem.I have just walked past a Longines AD at lunchtime today and they have 40% (yes, you read it correctly) off a Grand Vitesse on SS bracelet - just like Wombat's.I know I have posted before that I want to hold out for a TAG Carrera instead, but I just can't see ever finding the TAG at that kind of price. And speaking of price - we're talking $2370NZD, which is $1679USD, or $1829Australian.But if I get this now, I'll have nothing saved for the watch shopping when I visit Australia in October .What to do, what to do?? Maybe just take a few deep breaths and pretend I never saw it
I'm always on the lookout for my next watch. During one of these searches I came across a Swiss Legend with a clear plastic case. What is the general consensus with plastic on watches? How does it compare to a metal case other than the obvious aesthetics? I like the different look but would be hesitant to purchase if every couple of months I would have to send the watch in for service due to case cracks and such. What's your opinion?
I have purchased my first modern Patek Philippe and I couldn't be more thrilled. I traded two watches and a bit of cash for it to a well known and respected dealer, who I have inquired to about the issue. The watch showed up and is in great condition (like new). However, it does not have papers, mauals, tags, and short two links.I emailed the dealer and pointed this out the day I got it and he responded that the watch from a certified dealer but did not come with papers. We had been talking trade numbers and not an actual value of the watch so based on how that conversation had gone I assumed that he was placing a value on the watch of $25,000 or so. The watch arrived without anything other than a box and I am upset.I'm trying to figure out what to do here. What I would like to acomplish is to have a 5711 with box and papers for the deal I made, which was very fair and left a good bit of meat on the bone for the dealer OR find a value on the 5711 and discount the current one to that. What
