Stowa Wants You To Design Their Next Watch
I'm sure we've all at one point dreamt of designing and manufacturing our very own watch. I know I have a few scribbles and sketches stashed away somewhere in my apartment. But for most of us, the thought of having to deal with suppliers and manufacturers is often enough to keep us just dreaming.Now Stowa, one of our favorite German watchmakers, is about to simplify the entire process with a design contest open to the public, with the winning submission to be realized by the brand. The contest, in collaboration with Watchtime, launched on July 17th and will be open for submissions until the 30th. By mid August, the 10 most popular designs will be put up for a vote on Watchtime.net, with the winning design to be sold through Watchtime.net's online shop. Leather Strap for Lum-Tec Bull45 A7 - Recommendaions Wanted!
Hi all.I have this Lum-Tec Bull45 A7 (with a custom Stainless Steel case) and I am looking to put a leather strap on it.Does anyone have experience changing straps on a Bull? I am concerned about the strap crashing with the crown or pushers, especially since I would prefer a thicker strap.Suggestions and recommendations are welcome. Thanks!

Royal Oak bezel observation...
Dears I love AP to death, it's one of my favorite brands and I have owned a total of 4 APs in the last 3 years with only one remain, the 15400 in silver which I bought brand new from an AD last August.I had 15300s and a Diver before and I loved everything about them. My most favorite feature of any AP is the superb finishing done especially on the legendary bezel. However, I noticed that finishing on bezel can sometimes vary in terms of how hard it's vertically beveled, if that makes sense. Meaning, I have handled many I-series 15400s just like mine and some had very obvious vertical finishing on the bezel while others seemed not so much beveled. I think mine is a bit of the soft side vs the other one (image by watchcollectinglifestyle) I am just wondering if anybody else noticed this? And if it's a QC issue...?Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
