TAG Heuer WAW1310.FC6216 wrist watches news:
With the introduction of the Heritage Chronométrie Quantième Annuel Vasco da Gama, Montblanc makes a fine push into the small, but growing, segment of the industry for relatively affordable complicated timepieces. (They also score big points for having an epic product name – the collection is inspired by Vasco de Gama, the first European to reach India by sea.)This 40 mm wristwatch – available in both steel and gold, pictured here – is modern without being cold, with a dial that balances three sub-dials for the annual calendar and a separate moonphase with elegant ease.At a list price of EUR 11,100 in 18k red gold, you would be hard-pressed to find a greater value proposition for a similarly complicated precious metal wristwatch in this price category. (For example, JLC's Master Calendar in pink gold will cost you well over the twenty-thousand-dollar mark.) 2 OF 3 The movement is partially visible behind a sapphire crystal case back featu

Well back home from the Tamp GTG this past weekend - a GREAT time as always seeing everyone. One of the gentleman had one of my absolute grails, the 5135 in platinum, on his wrist. He was extremely gracious and allowed me to get a few wrist shots. So here they are. What do you think? There's absolutely nothing I don't like about this watch. Platinum, gorgeous anthracite dial, a very subtle touch-of-bling with the 2 diamond markers, the perfect gray strap and it's a Patek. And most of all, it looks perfectly at home & content sitting on my wrist. Thanks again for allowing me a few minutes of wrist time with this absolutely stunning watch. One day one of these will have a permanent home on my wrist.
So I'm doing some trolling on eBay and come across a vintage AP that I know has one of their nicer automatic movements in it. It's a crappy redial though. Not a major issue since I know AP can restore to original factory specs or offer one of the optional dials that came on that model watch as a replacement (if they have one in stock). The watch has been relisted already, coming down a couple hundred - and frankly, the price is still a bit steep. So I call the toll free number and the guy who answers gives me some information that wasn't in the listing. Caliber K2071.okay, that's one of the movements I was hoping for. Serial number puts it in the proper era for when these were made too. So I say I'll call them back, and shoot an e-mail to Axelle at AP to make sure this can be done. Get a reply within an hour that it's no problem. Cool! So when I call the seller back, another employee picks up the phone. I ask for the original salesperson and am told he's a little busy but he
Hi,I've never owned a Panerai but I'm contemplating about purchasing the Panerai 312 vs 233. I've read many of the threads about both of these beautiful pieces and the pro's and con's about both of them. However, I couldn't find information about the cost of servicing them. Like Rolexes and Omega's, does Panerai recommend getting these watches serviced every 5 years?
