Tom Brady Joins TAG Heuer as Brand Ambassador at Carrera Heuer 01 Launch
TAG Heuer officially rolled out its new Carrera – Heuer 01 collection at a New York City launch event on October 13 and also made an additional surprise announcement, introducing New England Patriots quarterback and four-time Superbowl champ Tom Brady as its newest brand ambassador.The launch event, held at Spring Studio in TriBeCa, featured Jean-Claude Biver, TAG Heuer CEO and president of the LVMH Group Watch Division, calling the NFL star onstage for the announcement. Brady, who was wearing a brand-new TAG Heuer Carrera – Heuer 01 watch with a colorful strap, entertained the crown of media and retailer guests by throwing signed footballs to raise money for the charitable organization Best Buddies. 5980/1AR Blue Dial - Some Random Thoughts & Question
I saw a 5980/1AR the other day for the first time. Wow that blue is a bluer and more vibrant blue than the 5711 blue IMO.Seems the /1AR doesn't get a lot of love in many polls I have looked at, at least compared to other Nautiluses. And I am surprised the /1AR blue dial isn't talked about more (I hear so many praises about the 5711 blue). Am I crazy for saying that /1AR dial is one of the best dials and most beautiful blue hues on a watch face I have ever seen? Up there with Platona Ice Blue IMO.The 5711 blue/grey kinda paled in comparison in my eyes, as I looked at the two next to each other in the same light side by side. I also loved the way the watch looked overall and I am not usually into TTs (accept for the Rolex Bluesy).Q: I have never seen a 5980/1A but does it have this same color blue?
