IWC IW375003 wrist watches news:
now that the London games are over did Omega do enough to successfully advance the brand with this opportunity?I only saw one commercial "Start me Up", were there any other ads on TV ? It seemed like Omega was trying to keep a low profile vs the Beijing games as far as promotion, I'm assuming it was the strategy..diver88
Firstly, please let me apologise for having NO photos. For those who have read my last 2 threads you will know that I'm looking at buying one of two IWC's1) The older style Da Vinvi Perpetual Calendar/Chronograph.2) The Portuguese Perpetual Calendar.Yesterday I visited an AD, who showed me my no.2 choice which was in R/G (model no.502119) And I had to say that I was totally blown away by the watch, it was, dare I say one of the most beautiful watches that I have seen and tried on. And It was so big as well. But unfortunately I don't think that I will be able to afford it,even if I sell one or two of my other watches. While I was there they also showed me a couple of their Patek watches. As I have never looked at them before.Though they are beautiful watches again they are above my "pay scale"In total I was their for just over 2 hours, a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one that I hope to repeat again in 2 weeks - see below.Regarding, choice no.1 I'm going to see a brand new S/S model i
In the archive, there was a listing of ETA movements, along with their grades. It was a common ETA movement, and I beleive Ball and Omega may have used them as well. One was a sticky, and the other was discussed quite heavily in the Ball Forum archive. Does anyone have that information. Unfortunately, I can not access the archive right now (my own ISP issue). :mad:Thanks!
Hello, I'm new to watchtalk, so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong forum or violating any rules. Thanks for your patience.I know this is a Tag forum, but I'm looking for objective opinions on 2 watches: the Tag Link Calibre 16 automatic chronograph and the Corum Admiral's Cup Legend 42. Both watches have a similar prices (I'm not overly worried about price). Both have distinct "looks"...I do lean slightly towards the Corum due to it's "off the beaten path" style and not-mainstream popularity (or lack thereof). However, the Tag is beautiful...but so is the Corum...a very different look. Anyway, can the group let me know your/their thoughts on both / either? I would greatly appreciate it...thanks very much!
If watches are displayed in stores and or transported with the crown pulled out, should you not store your own watches in the same manner ?What is the real reason for pulling out the crown ?
