IWC IW452314 wrist watches news:
LUM-TEC lovers rejoice, this month you have a chance to win one of LUM-TEC's very popular Combat B series watches. This is the limited edition B15 Chronograph, with a 43mm wide bead-blasted steel case and a real carbon fiber dial. A pilot watch at heart, it comes with a sturdy NATO style strap, and a very easy to read dial. LUM-TEC of course gives the watch their famous MDV luminant that works very well I must say. Visibility is further enhanced by anti-reflective (AR) coating on both sides of the sapphire crystal.Inside the watch is a Miyota OS20 quartz chronograph movement. It has a 60 minute counter, synchronized 24 hour hand, subsidiary seconds dial, and the date. The B 15 is part of a very limited production of just 100 pieces, and has a retail price of $565. But you can get a free B15 by entering for a chance to win below. To Enter You Must: 1. Comment on this post below with your valid e-mail address where required. In the body of your comment mention a favorite pilot watch, or a
Hi guys i'm new to the forum and just got an Omega Speedmaster with the month, day, and date function. It's my first automatic (hopefully first of many to come). It has a 3 position crown, and I was wondering if any of you guys had any experience with how to set the day, date, and month, and in what order. I don't have a winder yet, and I don't wear it every day but i try to put it on enough to keep it running, and i know at some point it's going to run out. The manual is generic and very vague.
I was out at lunch today and saw an EVO on a guys wrist that looked like someone had taken a scotchbrite to the entire watch I asked him about it and in fact he did Scotchbrite the whole watch and it looked amazing it was his daily wear watch and he said he was tired of the scratches. It had what I would describe as light to medium grey face with white sub dials. We ended up eating lunch together as this all happened at subway, and talked watches and football the entire time.
I am a little confused by the dial colour options of the 5140G. I am seeing them advertised with a silver dial and an opaline white dial. From what I can see the model started out with a silver dial which must, at some point, have changed to the current white dial. However, I don't detect any changes in the reference sub-number (if they have a sub-number at all they all seem to be 5140G-001). Can anyone cast any light on whether there was a change, if so when it happened, and whether there should be different reference numbers ?As a PS, has there ever been a 5140P with a white dial ?
Hi everyone! Just joined this forum and hope to be an exciting part of it. Bought my first Rolex last week. 41mm DJ Wimbledon Dial Jubilee 18k/Steel.I have been waiting for this for the longest time. Question is on cleaning. I know its gonna get scratched and that some people wear them as battle wounds. Is there anything wrong with cleaning my watch daily or multiple times a day? Currently I'm using a cloth used for eyeglasses, phone screen, laptop screen. And wiping it down dry, would it hurt if I applied a cleaning solution? I do this several times a day to remove fingerprints. Is this a good method?
