IWC 3195933 wrist watches news:
This little beauty showed up on my doorstep at 10:15 this morning. Bless my wife's little heart, but she jumped in her van and drove it down to my office for me so I wouldn't have to wait until I got home:These are just some quick shots I took when I got home. I'll take some more time this weekend to take some good porn shots of it, but I wanted to get these up.As for the watch itself, all I can say is this piece is amazing. Comfortable to wear; not too heavy, but certainly hefty enough to let you know it's there. It's an amazingly fine piece of workmanship, and I'm both happy and proud to be a member of the club!
I'm up at 5am on Saturday getting some things done before my son wakes up, but I'm still enjoying my latest pickup:
I have been thinking about Seiko lately and how they provide great value and have wonderful offerings in the quartz, automatic, and kinetic genres. At one time they were represented on the TV shopping channel by SWI and offered good deals. Then the TV channel touted how they were now a Seiko AD and would get a great selection of Seikos, being an authorized dealer and all. What the heck happened to all that stuff and where are the Seikos??More Fluff??
My father gave me his old Omega Seamaster two years ago, it was in rough shape and unfortunately has totally seized up recently. Its a quartz movement, one of the first I think in a swiss dive watch, so I don't know what the odds of fixing it are. Its a beautiful watch similar to this - forums.watchuseek/f29/sol...ed-524009.htmlbut with the all stainless band. I'm trying to figure out what to do, should I search high and low for another one on the internet for the sentimental value, or can anyone recommend a course of action that I could undertake in Canada?- Thanks alot in advance!David
My constellation is running slow and the date will no longer change. This is a quartz movement.
