cal. 353 hacking feature?
I've accidentally turned the crown in the reverse direction used for setting slightly on occasion and note that this stops the second hand or moves it backwards a few seconds. Is this a feature of the movement or am I potentially doing some internal damage?On an unrelated note, what sort of accuracy should I be getting from this movement? I've been wearing it daily and it seems to vary between 1 and 3 minute loss daily depending on how I place it for overnight (on its side, crown up, appears to result in the most lost time). I realize that this is an unadjusted movement so perhaps this loss is okay for a 60 year old movement (it has been cleaned and oil not too long ago).

Hi,I thought I'd share this. I have a newly acquired Thin O Matic I does well.. The funny is about the fact that it doesn't have any date complication Just simple Three hand .sweep second. This is the first watch I've owned in probably 40 years without a Date display function. The night I got the watch in the mail,I was going about setting the correct time.. Naturally it being an older movement,it has no hacking feature,but that wasn't a problem .....I can handle that. Here is the funny....You'll have pay attention,I've already told ya about the watch being a three hand,no date complication. Read . I had a thought while rolling the hands to reach the correct time..and stopped in mid stride. I was thinking about how I was going to be able to tell (without a Date indicator) if the watch was in Am,or PM mode Did ya get the funny yet >> ?????? I actually took at least 3 or 4 sec,thinking about this issue. Then my mental alertness finally caug

London best shopping/browsing ??
I¡¯m midlands based and taking a trip to London tomorrow (Saturday). I¡¯m going alone so i can browse till my heart is content and I¡¯m really interested in looking at Tudors old and new and who knows I may pick up a Black Bay Red on a bracelet if I can get a deal ( is 10 or 15 % realistic?)Even if I don¡¯t end up buying I¡¯m intent on having a look at as many Ad¡¯s and used /vintage dealers as I can. Anyone have any suggestions as to which areas to concentrate on ?Thanks.

Am I an Idiot?
I've been trying to score a few very in demand watches from ADs, Daytona white face, SS Dweller blue face. Anyways, in my discussions with ADs, I came across a guy who works for a large shop with multiple locations that seems to always have great watches. He tells me, buy a few watches off me and I'll get both on your wrist within 12-18 months. In the last month he has called me to take a Batman and a Hulk, and like an idiot, I declined - clearly they get good stuff... Could've easily taken them, sold them here at MSRP to someone that wants them BNIB from an AD. Anyways, he calls me up and tells me he has a TT Dweller with a white face and again lets me know that this would go a long way in getting what I actually want. $17k watch, but I see them selling at a minimum slightly above MSRP and they're still fairly difficult to source, so I'm debating taking it to pass it off to someone who hopefully wants it, but hasn't been able to find it.Dumb move, smart move, no opinion?Thanks forum.
