Swiss Army Dive Master 500 Watches For 2012
I've always really liked the Swiss Army Dive Master collection of watches. Over the last few years the brand has released a range of these models in both quartz and mechanical form. I personally reviewed a Swiss Army Dive Master 500 watch here. For 2012, Swiss Army has "re-launched" the Dive Master 500. Nothing radically new, but the cool watch remainscool.Most people seeing the new Dive Master 500 versions will first notice the quartz models with the new dials. The sword-shaped hands have been replaced with a fat arrow hand and a baton style hand. There are also new hour markers and dial decor. When Zai sent this watch for me to review I was excited and knew that this would be an easy review since I have ongoing personalexperience with this Orient model. And I can only say good things about it. In my line of work being a co-owner of a diningestablishment I like a handsome and durable watch that is affordable so if it would get damaged I wouldn't have to leave via a EMSunit. I first discoverd the Orient Watch Compnay about ten years ago and purchased a diver that I liked so much that I followed it up witha Mako when they first became available. My own Mako has been in grease, oil, batter, and depths of water in a deep dish sink and yet needs to look good out in front of customers. All I have to do is wash it off and it looks almost as good as it did six years ago when I got it.The heart of the Mako is the Orient Caliber 46943 which is a in house automatic movement that is 21 jewels with date and day indicators. Hi All,Simple proposition. Trade my DBlue + a little cash for an E serial 25721 aka 'The Beast'. I know this is not a widely seen model (even with the newly announced tribute version)I do have a newer 44 titanium (264001) and do love the versatility of the Dblue...but am thinking of switching things up a little.Opinions are welcome and appreciated !
