IWC IW3236-08 wrist watches news:
I went to put on my 2.5 year old Black Seamaster Chrono Diver and found the clasp extension split in two while opening it. There is a small flanged pin that links the double arm and single arm segments that simply snapped. It is a solid pin that is flanged on each end, so I am wondering the proper way to repair it? Would you go with a solid pin that is hammered on both ends to create the flanges and looks original, or a pin with threaded flange inserts at each end? This is probably a fairly common issue, the repair itself is likely very simple, but I want it done right and as close to OEM as reasonable. What is the correct way to repair this? Thanks.
is he still sleeping?Did the alarm on his new PAM '98 wake him up on time?Or is he putting the final touches to the 3rd Annual Tampa GTG?mkmotorsport/watches_GTG7.htmI hear the GTG kicks off on Friday night 14th November 2008 with the main event on Saturday night 15th November 2008...Enquiring minds want to know!
Here's a Glashutte diver I picked up a few months back. Has an ETA 2824 that runs within COSC specs (+4 seconds in 24 hrs).
Happy Tuesday! I've been contemplating future acquisitions and been wondering about the durability of the carbon cases and bezels on AP. Do they scratch? If so, do they shows the scratches easily? What about nicks and dents? How does carbon compare to the SS or Gold that AP uses? How about carbon compared to ceramic? Can anyone post a picture of a well worn full carbon AP?David
I could use some opinions on my next purchase. I have been looking at the Omega OP (see image below) as my next purchase. I've never had one and never worn/tried one on. The orange has somehow placed me in a trance and I can't get away from the over-all appearance. I'm not wanting a daily wear time piece b/c i already have one love but I am looking to add an additional option for those rainy days. I could really use some good hard opinions from those who actually know about the watch. I plan on putting one on in the next few days from a local AD.
