Okay, so I fear the Breitling may have been dethroned.I have in my possession the most amazing watch that I've longed for for months and I am excited to share with you all. I'll share my experiences and knowledge as I go. I'm sure you've all seen me recommend the watch based on looks, but in person it is just amazingReally...Maurice Lacroix Jours Retrograde with box, papers, warranty, cards, tags, original plastic and the works. Stock pictures as I'm at work, but actual shots will be showing up in a few hours. I wouldn't have ever thought that I could have gotten a retrograde complication for the price I did, but wow. I am grateful!

Incoming, and a bit of a homecoming...
After venturing into different brands and getting annoyed that my 1980s Rolex kept better time (not mentioning names), I decided that my collection, going forward, would focus on Rolex. As such, I did some flipping and bought a DateJust 41 with a blue dial, oyster bracelet, and fluted bezel:I figured that this and my No Date sub should cover just about everything:I also have a 1980s DateJust that was a present from my wife which I will reserve for more formal occasions:Thoughts on my humble trio?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are these the correct spring bars?
Recently bought an early 118239 from a reputable seller. Had it checked out by the watchmaker at my AD and he said it was in good shape, authentic, etc. but that he thought it might have spring bars from an older watch, like a 18239. He said the spring bars are authentic and Rolex, but there is a little bit of wiggle where the bracelet meets the case and it should be tighter. His feeling was that they were a little bit thinner than they should have been, and the notches didn't line up correctly.This is a P serial with the older style clasp, heavy President bracelet.The merchant sent me a new set of spring bars, and before I drive 45 minutes to see if my guy can put them in, I wanted to see if they seemed correct to the experts on here. Can you take a look, please? They are definitely white, please excuse the distorted color in photo.Thanks!
