IWC 3305 wrist watches news:
Big Project this weekend. My watch collection was turning into a mire. I had a simple watch case, a couple of watch winders, and an overflowing collection of watches that was organically taking over various parts of my living space. Something had to be done. But what? If you have spent any time looking for watch cases, winders, etcyou will know that they are overpriced, often of dubious quality, and typically not exactly what you are looking for. Alternatively, you can be wowed by Orbita's 40 watch winder cabinet, and then be awed and angered over its $50,000 price tag. What is a collector to do? I've had this model in for review for a couple of weeks and am pretty impressed:The watch is very clearly targeting the Rolex Datejust/Day Date crowed - $23,000.00 retail price. It has screwed in adjustable links - first I've seen on an Omega. The caliber 8501 is pretty darn impressive and nicely decorated. But thanks to the Co-Axial escapement it's got a wonky beat speed - 25,200 VPH. Thought you guys might like to see the pix!
