I was wondering if there are common associations people make between watches or brands and occupations or activities. I know there are some really obvious ones (Breitling -> small aircraft pilots), but I was wondering if there are lots of others or if I'm imagining things. small seconds and quartz
I can't quite put my finger on why, but I have nothing against quartz watches and I like a small seconds complication, but can't warm up to a quartz with small seconds (unless it's a chronograph). I guess in my mind a small seconds subdial is equated with classic design, while quartz isn't at all. Am I alone in this?
