IWC 504210 wrist watches news:
In 1988, Rolex launched its first automatic chronograph with the most important feature is its caliber 4030 based on the Zenith 400, the best industrial chronographic movement calibre on the market at the time.
At Basel this year, Nomos has done something so surprising that, had this been Geneva instead of Basel and cars instead of watches, it would have made primetime news. ?Let me set the scene…Imagine that one manufacturer made the engines that powered most of the world's cars, but each carmaker stuck their own brand name on the rocker cover. ?So your Mercedes was really powered by the same engine as a Kia. ?That's pretty much what happens in Watchworld. ?Nivarox, part of the Swatch Group, manufacture the?assortiment, the collection of pallet, balance?wheel, hairspring and escape wheel used by most of the world's watchmakers. Now, imagine that engine maker decided it didn't want to sell to anyone except its own factories anymore. ?Can you imagine the implications for?every other brand's cost, supply chains, production lines, tooling, sales? ?That's exactly what Nivarox has done. ?It's said that soon it won't sell its?assortiment?to anyone outside Swatch Group. This has left the industr
As in the Orbita posts on the winders forum, I have a new Sparta Executive and have been storing/winding my Great White and my Seamaster Pro300 since last Thursday when I set them and placed in the holder for my weekend gone on military duty (Thurs, Fri, Sat, and back today Sun). So if it has a 40 hour reserve how long would the full wind last??? I can confirm that the winder is operating properly and accurately every 10 minutes...but it seems it is not winding the great white.I have had it stop once while on an overnight recently when it was on the bedstand but it was after it had sat 6 hours as well. This was a NOS purchased from and individual with all credentials intact but warranty never certed with date but all other info on it correct. But, I would assume it has expired none the less from the original purchase. So I
How come? Would you consider Stowa a German or Swiss watch?
Have been thinking about it for one year now and finally pulled the trigger on moving my 114060 for a 14060 (box + papers as well!). I am loving the 5 digit reference and look forward to continuing in this crazy world of Rolex
