IWC IW511102 wrist watches news:
Long time no post!!! Hope all has been well-So i'm looking to potentially buy my fourth Rolex (I currently have a 1964 untouched 5513, a mid 2000's two tone 16613, and a 2010 white face 116520) and I have decided on getting a late production 16600 Sea-Dweller in mint condition as a daily driver. I have been struggling with finding a V series (Last production run of the 16600 and I read somewhere they only made 200) in mint condition. As they are rare and last production series, any I have seen are priced at or over 7k in mint condition and saw one sell BNIB for 8500.As a result I have started to consider the Z series as an alternative (second to last production run) which are more heavily produced and more availible in the marketplace at a better price.I recently found a Z series in what appears to be excellent condition (claims has never been polished), with box and papers, through a private seller who has of positive references on Rolexforums (both on the sell and buy side). I got hi
Gents, I have the Diver on rubber and might end up with a bracelet at some point, but looking to see what other strap options you may have tried on it. Would love to see some pics of anything you've tried out. Thanks. Pics always start a thread out on the right foot so here you go.
Hi all,I just got my grandfather's Seamaster back from the Omega Boutique in NYC after a full restore - no polish. Watch looks amazing and proud to be wearing for many reasons. I'd like to keep it on a winder and was curious if anyone knew the appropriate TPD and direction? Judging by the inscriptions on the back is dated 1971, retirement gift from the city. Omega wrote what I believe is the serial # 10517XX but not 100% positive that is the actual SN. Picture attached. The in-house watchmaker at the boutique gave an answer of four hours that was no help.Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Don't know if this topic has been visited already, but I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a sapphire sandwich offered for Omega speedmasters any longer. I think this is just another example of corporate greed. Charge more and deliver less. The sapphire sandwich used to be one of the best bangs for the buck in the watch world IMHO.Cheers allJim
