IWC IW371210 wrist watches news:
There is no doubt that one of the trends to emerge from Baselworld 2014 was brands reviving classic models with small modern updates. Usually this means a slightly larger case and maybe some new functionality, all while retaining the design traits that made the original a classic in the first place. Hamilton unveiled the Pan-Europ, a sport watch that definitely carries all the 70s style of the original chronograph Pan-Europ. Here we take a closer look at this affordable re-issue. 2 OF 6 The first Pan-Europ debuted in 1971 and was one of the very first automatic chronographs. It housed the legendary Calibre 11 movement (called the Chrono-matic by Hamilton) and hit all the style hallmarks of early 70s racing watches. There was the bold timing bezel with large numerals, bright colors, and the barrel shaped case, which you might recognize from the Heuer Autavias of the same era. 3 OF 6 The watch we have here is a revival of the later non-chronograph Pan-Europ. Hi, I've had my Omega Seamaster 300Mm for about three years now and its started to run fast all of a sudden. By fast I mean it has gained about 8 minutes in about 5 days since I set it against an atomic clock. I generally wear the watch for about 12 hours a day and keep it wound up over the weekend when Im not wearing it. I took it into the Omega service centre here in the Sydney CBD this morning and they checked the regulator and the watch for magnetism, but it came back perfect. They said that they can open it up and have a look but I'm not really keen on this. I generally keep the watch flat on its back in a horizontal position when I'm not wearing it, and have heard that this can speed time up and that its better to keep it in a vertical position. Can anyone offer some advice ?Thanks
Hi all.I have this Lum-Tec Bull45 A7 (with a custom Stainless Steel case) and I am looking to put a leather strap on it.Does anyone have experience changing straps on a Bull? I am concerned about the strap crashing with the crown or pushers, especially since I would prefer a thicker strap.Suggestions and recommendations are welcome. Thanks!
