IWC IW544501 wrist watches news:
Round-Up By Kenny YeoWelcome to the very first edition of watches-dealer¡¯s twice a month round up special. Two times a month, I round up the best watch articles and reviews from watches-dealer and from around the internet for your reading pleasure. Here are my picks for the first half of April.1.? Bell & Ross Aviation Instrument Watches 2013For the past couple of years, Bell & Ross has released a couple of aviation-themed watches based on their signature BR01 case, and this year is no different. 2013 will see three new aviation-themed watches. The three new watches are named Airspeed, Heading Indicator and Climb, and their names are a good indication of which cockpit dial provided the inspiration for the design. Powering these watches are ETA movements.Although these watches are not the first word in legibility - especially the Heading Indicator - they stay true to Bell & Ross¡¯ older aviation-themed watches such as last year¡¯s Altimeter and the older Radar. All in all, thes
I do appreciate all the beautiful watch pics here but my "nails on chalkboard" pet peeve is photos of watches resting on rocks and other abrasive surfaces. Don't they get scratched up no matter how careful one is? What are your opinions or tips?Thanks,somed00d
I was offered this vintage mechanical Egin (not a Lord Elgin) today for $40 from a family member. Sorry for the poor quality pic (best I could get on my cell phone). It's gold tone, brownish/pinkish face with blue hands, and flexible lugs. I was told it's a 1929 model. The only thing stamped on the back is some sort of symbol and 'Base Metal'. Very nice condition. Is it worth getting for $40? Please give opinions. Thanks! It's similar in style to this one.
The crown on my 15400 had worked its way loose so I decided to send it in to Clearwater for a checkup and a pressure test to activate the 3rd year warranty. The whole process was extremely smooth and communication from AP was exceptional. I got phone calls and emails confirming they received my watch, time for completion (estimated 1 month), service confirmation and notification of shipping home. They performed a full service of the movement under warranty and extended the warranty by an additional 2 years. Best of all the whole process was completed in just 3 weeks. The watch was VERY WELL packaged when it returned and even got the nice AP travel case. I know many of you have dealt with APSC before and had similar experience but for those of you that haven't AP is among the best when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. Big thanks to Betsy, Guillaume and the rest of the AP team in Clearwater
This is the second strap that I have received that has had this problem. Strap is brand new from HSWA. I¡¯ve only had it for about 1 month, worn sparingly. Anyone else having similar issues?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
