- While it's a stylish watch, I was surprised at how it looks on my wrist. Also, the face obtains smear marks easily and frequently which can be a hassle to consistently wipe off. But, it is a nice watch nevertheless.

Invicta 18923 wrist watches news:
This is the newest watch from favorite New Zealand watch maker Magrette. I love the retro styling of the dial, and the value price makes this watch a bit too desirable to pass up. Also, you'll love the little details that Magrette puts into this watch that make it so unique. Start with the dial of the new Moana Pacific to see the smooth retro looks. The name of the watch is applied in a cursive text right over the base model name which is the Regattare. The hour markers have all been thinned out a bit for the look on this dial. The hands have been reworked a bit more solid looking and thinner with a needle style seconds hand. The case is smooth and functional with a high quality polish on high-grade steel. This is one of the most handsome styled watch cases out there today. The Moana Pacific watch will be available as a limited edition of just 500, with the first 100 pieces being more special. Flip the watch over and notice a special wood inlay on the caseback of the watch. The inlay al
About 25 years ago Jim Reese, who was at that time the only surviving inventor of the Hamilton Electric watch (he died in 1992), gave me an odd empty watch case made of clear Lucite which he had kept as a souvenir when he retired. He could not remember where it came from or why it was in the Research Lab, but it was definitely a professionally manufactured item. It is embossed "Pat. Pending" on the back, and is carefully constructed with steel sleeves to reinforce the spring bar holes, and a steel sleeve for the stem/crown. It even had specially designed spring bars. Alas, it had no movement or dial. It's been sitting in my drawer ever since. This morning I got a complete watch with the identical case from the son of retired Hamilton employee in Lancaster. His father had worked in R&D and quite obviously liked and wore the watch a lot. It's cracked all the way across the front, vertically, and one lug is broken off. The crown is corroded. But it's an identical case to what I had. I
So I joined the forum a few months ago to educate myself on Rolex¡¯s. I have always wanted a submariner and had my heart set on a no date 14060M. I prefer the vintage style and size of earlier watches and didn¡¯t want anything flashy. Eventually after looking around I just didn¡¯t feel confident enough to buy a used Rolex either online or private party. I had a local dealer quote me a price on a used one which was basically new msrp.Dismayed I began looking for alternatives. That¡¯s when I found the Omega 60th anniversary collection and specifically the Seamaster. I know some find this to be ¡°fake¡± vintage, but this watch had everything I was looking for. It¡¯s the right size, clean lines and dial and will be a perfect one watch for daily wear. The watch arrived today and am extremely excited. I don¡¯t think I would have had the same feeling with a used Rolex.Pictures to follow when it¡¯s light out and bracelet is sized.
Just took all the stickers off the Bluesy
I have always thought the Pelagos is a beautiful piece of engineering and am seriously considering adding one to my collection, which begs the question blue or black? What say you and why? For reference, I wear a two tone Sub or Explorer II black dial daily.
