We would like to hear from all fans of the brand. Regardless if you currently own a PP watch or not. This could be somewhat of a trivial question to some veteran collectors & PP owners. However, since we are the newest forum here, I know that we have a lotof visitors from other forums who just come over to see 'what's new'.Many of them do not know a lot about Patek Philippe, yet 'someday' they wouldlike to own one. Then of course the question pops-up: "Which one to get?"or "What do all these numbers mean?" don't these watches just have 'names'?Then we have some seasoned collectors who are never happy and their favoritereference is the one they do not own yet .Let's share....What is your favorite Patek reference and why ?I' start:While any Patek minute repeater could be mentioned here, I'll stick with a referencethat can be still had without winning your state lotto :DFor me it is 5960P - annual calendar, chronograph, power reserve, night/day indicator.Why?1) It has a nice size. I am shopping for my first AP and came across this watch. I was really excited for a second thinking that this was all ceramic, but it isn't. Blackened DLC steel case with black Mega Tapisserie dial, white arabic numerals, tachymeter, hands, Crown and push-pieces in the same white.I hope AP comes out with this watch in all black ceramic.
Hello all, this is my first post. Is it possible for a tritium dial not react to a UV light source? I found an N S/N Submariner with it's box and papers basiclly unused but the hands and indicies do not react to UV or any kind of light I have tried. Thoughts? comments?
