Swiss Hamilton which looks like Lord Lancaster L
Hi all,I'm curious about a Swiss Hamilton that looks nearly identical from the front to the Lord Lancaster L, only I think it is a 10K RGP bezel with stainless back. Has anyone run across this one? I didn't find it in Shugart or in the forums, and I (sadly) have yet to run across a copy of Rene's fantastic book.Here's a pic of the real Lord Lancaster.. the one that looks similar to this has a sub second dial and the word "Swiss" at the bottom.Thanks!Andrew

I honestly believe that the Link bracelet is one of the main reasons for Tag Heuers success during the 1980s and which allowed them to become a world player in the high end watch world. Of course, more recently watch collecting has become a global phenomenon with many of the high end brands becoming house-hold names. In the 1980s the watch world, especially in Switzerland, was in serious danger of being swallowed up by the quartz revolution that allowed for wrist watches to become cheap, throw-away fashion items. Trying to identify the timepiece
Some time ago a close friend of mine has shown me a gift timepiece she got more than 10 years ago from her father - watches marked as Audemars Piguet tourbillon. Those seem to be a gold chronograph, however I was unable to find any picture of AP timepiece over the net that would match to what we have in hands. Writings on the dial: Audemars Piguet,tourbillon, swiss made. Writings on the back cover: Limited Edition, E11487, Quantieme PerpetuelCould you guys please guess if this could be a genuine AP timepiece? Photos are below. Thanks for watching.
