Invicta 17430 wrist watches news:
This isn't exactly a fact:After a big party, Kremlin boss Joe Stalin can't find his wristwatch. He calls the KGB and reports it stolen. The next day he finds it in a drawer under his socks - just where he left it. He tells his security chief who replies: "But Sir, we've already had five people confess to stealing it."
Ahhh, it¡¯s good to be back. I¡¯ve been greatly enjoying my near-mint, complete, Second Generation Omega Speedmaster X-33:A handsome watch that is so functional, yet subtle . . . practical, yet exotic . . . and overall, it¡¯s just so very ¡°legitimate¡±. My backstory: I owned a Gen1 X-33 in the past, but at the time I didn¡¯t fully warm up to its less integrated looks. I sold it. But I talked up the watch so much, that a good friend of mine bought one for himself; a Gen2, and every time I saw it I kicked myself that I should have one. The aesthetics of the Gen2 model really clicked with me, but I just admired my friend¡¯s watch from afar. Then, recently, this inspiring thread nudged me to act. I missed out on this one a few weeks ago, due to my own sheer inattention. But I ended up being able to purchase that same watch from its buyer. Now, I¡¯m really glad to own this very nice example (serial number 5.9 million), and I¡¯m looking forward to enjoying it!So -- what do I like about the
Admittedly I'm becoming obsessed with this watch -I can't wait till I get one so that I can quickly lose interest in it!But I was wondering what you guys think...I think that it is a given that after Basel 2011 all PO's will have the Liquid metal Bezel/dial..So, how will the 1948 limited editions be different? The red SEAMASTER?THE dial itself?the Words 'limited edition?or will you have to pull out the box and papers to show that it's one of the limited?
Just curious if anyone has both models and if you don't find them redundant due to their similarities.
I received this from DavidSW today! image.jpg
