Invicta 11035 wrist watches news:
Hello and good moring. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Frank. I live in Ventura County [California]. I'm on other boards as well. I recognize some of the screenames here. best, Frank
So every now and then my local thrift store will have some decent watches in for really cheap. I stopped in today and looked around and saw a crazy looking manual wind that has this palm tree background dial and has a VW beetle that goes around the dial as a second hand. Its embossed on a clear piece of plastic that rotates as a second hand. It says hong kong on the dial and has a moran swiss parts made in hong kong pin lever in it. It looks like the highest quality pin lever i have ever seen. Any info would be great on that watch! I also bought a "limit, of switzerland" ladies manual wind with a swiss 17 jewel manual wind movement that was serviced at some point (dont know when) and a ladies tissot quartz. I thought it might be fake but for $1 I couldn't go wrong. I brought it home and opened it up and it had a really high quality looking 7 jewel quartz movement marked "tissot" the problems with it are it doesn't have a crystal, has a small dent in the dial, and I can't get the caseba
I was wondering how popular The Flying Fish is? If you own this watch, do you keep the chronograph function constantly running?
I've taken in a PAM 111 on a trade and it's my first Panerai. It's a 2005 model and I don't believe it has ever been serviced. It seems to be running fast, 30 seconds a day. I love the watch and am not sure what I should do - the previous owner offered to take it to a watchmaker to have it regulated but recommended against opening it up. Is this normal for an older Panerai? Should I get it serviced by Panerai instead? Do nothing and just enjoy it?Advice would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Love watching the TV program The Curse Of Oak Island. There is a British metal detectorist on there called Gary Drayton. This pic is of his website. A few bits he has pulled from the sea allegedly in 2012 in Florida I believe. .garydrayton/images/09...f8b8d3b020.jpgI would have been chuffed with just the watch but he also states he has found a Tiffany and Co diamond ring valued at ¡ê10kBest get myself a metal detector.
