Invicta 13901 wrist watches news:
This spectacular underwater giant has a diameter of 49 mm, case 15,25 mm thickness and a volume of 565.2mm3. Very simply, the Oris "Der Meistertaucher" regulator is the largest watch oris has ever produced! But big is really beautiful - and practical - the Oris of the diving world.
I have a PO, co-axial chronometer and love the watch.....except when I put it down! (both for the love of it and this issue....)I wear the watch everyday to work and only take it off during the night while sleeping, the power reserve (PR) lasted and the watch kept on ticking. Well on Friday, I get home around 4pm and took off the watch, well this morning I notice the second hand was not moving, well it seemed that the PR was exhausted around 11:00 pm last night (date still from yesterday). I know that this watch has a PR of 48 hours...but 7 hours? And I normally work at a computer during the day - not much hand motion. On weekends that I do NOT plan on wearing it, I put it in a watch winder, it rotates it both counter and clock wise on timed iterations (NOT all the time moving)....on these weekends and by Monday morning...it is still keeping time.Should I be concerned or should I just visit the bathroom more during the day to get some motion into the watch? Thanks in advance!Mike
It was a beautiful sunny day so a good excuse to wear my 1943 vintage ref 96.
I¡¯ve begun the process of clearing out some watches I don¡¯t wear. I¡¯m working on selling my Victorinox Air Boss and Tag Heuer Aqua Racer. I¡¯m also sadly selling off my two 39mm beauties. Ive already sold my Explorer and plan to sell my Railmaster. As much as I love them, I never seem to wear anything in 39mm. I feel like 40mm is the sweet spot for me and Rolex. So I¡¯m thinking about getting rid of everything above including my 42mm Explorer 2 and adding one of the following to my white Milgauss: either a NIB black GMT Master 2 or a gently used Bluesy. The Bluesy or GMT would be my every day watch and the Milgauss would be the mix in. Both 40mm and both with polished center links, which I¡¯m loving more and more.I¡¯d love some feedback or thoughts before pulling the trigger. Thanks,MikeSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
An issue I wanted to run by the TRF community, hopefully you guys can provide some guidance! I bought a 16710 off the forum about 4 years ago. Had always been one of my grail watches. Earlier this year I noticed it stopped keeping time well and late this summer it fully stopped. I sent it to the RSC for a service, they looked at it and said it'd just be a typical service, nothing extra or out of the ordinary was wrong.Got it back about 6 weeks ago and notice now that the date window changes like an ETA movement...at about 10PM it starts moving and finally clicks over at about 11:30PM.Have any of you experienced this before? It's obviously under warranty so I assume there's no charge to fix this right? And anyone who's experienced, is this an easy/short fix? I'd like to have the watch for the holidays. Thanks!
