Invicta 14008 wrist watches news:
I'm agonizing about my next purchase later this year and I can't decide between a GMTIIc or Sub Date, both SS.I own a T series Exp II, so I want a black dial now. There are pros & cons to both watches, on the one hand I already own a GMT "complication" but the Sub is not "updated" as the GMT yet.One the other hand I'm not crazy about the polished center links of the GMT but I want the new oyster bracelet (my ExpII doesn't even have solid links and I want a watch that will definitely not rattle). I know the sub has SEL, does it rattle? Is the new oyster bracelet that much better? Then there's the ceramic bezel and maxi case...Any comments or pros & cons?

Found this in a pawn shop in Laos, returned to purchase it after doubting its authenticity, but it was sold. Of course curiosity is now driving me crazy. Anyone know if the face appears to be authentic vintage Patek. The model? Value? Thanks.
Not sure if it is true or a sales pitch, but one of my dealers just informed me that Patek told them the 5270G is discontinued, though apparently they are getting one last one.
Looking to source this Exp 2 from a private seller in person tomorrow. Supposed to be a Z serial, hoping i get lucky with a 3186 under the hood but not too hung up if I don't. Anyway, everything looked good, equipped with SEL's which also checks out with the serial and no holes case. Until I noticed the swiss T < 25 dial on the bottom. This would be an anomaly in my eyes, as we know T was out of dials as of the 90s, and no holes cases of course started going in watches after 2003 or so. He claims its been to RSC and has paperwork etc, that dial just gets me and does not make sense. Could the dial be swapped? Like some sort of franken situation. I'll probably steer clear but interested in hearing thoughts. Am I crazy and seeing things? My D serial polar dial just says swiss made as most/all do. Did some research cant seem to find anything. Opinions greatly appreciated. Hopefully the picture is clear.
