- I was a little skeptical about purchasing an expensive watch due to the fact there are so many knock offs out there and you never know the quality you get. However, I decided to do it and I was very pleased with the watch and with Amazon. It is an authentic TAG watch at such a great price. Shipping from Amazon was great. I received my watch a couple of days early from the expected arrival date and I had no issues with packaging. The watch is awesome and I have no fears of purchasing anything from Amazon regardless of the price.

Michael Bittel Double Diaphragm Eclipse Watch
This watch doesn't just have a dial that looks like a camera shutter, the prototype version actually used a camera shutter. Michael Bittel cannibalized a friend's vintage camera (he had permission) and took out the shutter. He ground it down and modified it, and used it to make an opening and closing dial on a watch. This isn't the first time that a shutter aperture style dial has graced my eyes, but it is one of the nicest renditions. I did mention the de Grisogono Fuso Quadrato Two Time Zone watch that applied a similar idea. Although on the Eclipse, the shutter opens up to reveal the decorated and diamond studded movement. Actually, I can't figure out whether the watch is called the Eclipse, Double Eclipse, Double Diaphragm Eclipse, or some variation thereof. Who knows, it doesn't matter. Not like there are other watches that look like this. By the way, I am gonna take this opportunity to mention to watch companies that you need to do two things: 1) make sure you give your watch a c

Just want to know what your opinion is..there are 2 watches available for me to get Watch A is an early 2006 Z series with papers without the "rolexrolexrolex" on the inner ring and more expensive by a couple hundredWatch B is a late 2006 Z series without papers with the "rolexrolexrolex" on the inner ring cheaper than watch A by a couple hundred So which one should i get? is the later production any better than the earlier model? Hey everyone,At this past weekend’s Tampa GTG I had the chance to hold & photograph not one, but two of my all-time, win-the-lottery-and-I'm-off-to-the-store grails, the Patek 5070 & 5970. These are NOT mine (unfortunately), but are pieces of other members collection who were gracious enough to allow me an "up close & personal' moment with each the watches. A big THANKS to both of you for allowing me to hold these special pieces!What did I think? Absolutely stunning! Loved them both. But you guys probably don't want to hear me ramble on saying what I thought, you want pictures.. Should I have it regulated or not?
As most of you will know,through my previous thread, thanks to Brian and his relationship with his AD, I was able to buy a 5167A.Whenever I buy a watch, I normally check the daily accuracy rate to check that it falls within the Brands (not necessary Patek Philippe) specification. If it does then I tend to forget it.The 5167A is no exception, and i set it 5 days ago. To date it has lost 28 seconds, which is about 5.4 seconds per day.Now, I have had the pleasure of owning a number of Patek watches and so I know that this is not the norm.In the Old un days, on seeing a thread like this, you would advise the owner of their new (not pre owned) watch to give it a couple of weeks for the movement to bed in as well as allowing it to become accustomed to how you wear it.Is that still the case?Or should I get it regulated?Just to clarify I am not seeking perfection, we all recognise and appreciate that these are mechanical movements and some tolerance has to be allowed.But I would like it to be
