Invicta 11516 wrist watches news:
Hi Guys, This is my first day on WTF (I still feel odd posting that..), and one of the fellows in the General forum suggested I post some of my Omega photos over here too so here goes! This is my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 42mm. I bought it on the rubber strap, but I wear it all the time on the Omega Mesh now:I had this 45mm PO, but it was just a tad to large for my wrist so I sold it and got the 42mm instead:I just got this SMP 2255.80.00 Electric Blue a couple of weeks ago, and man do I love it! That's a rain drop on the clasp.. I owned these three in the past and still kick myself on a regular basis for letting them get away. Especially the Day/Date which I'd like to reacquire at some point (note the empty money clip.. )One of these days I'd like to have a Gen. 2 X-33 as well..
Surprised me too. Was flipping channels, and the $1,000,000 Price Is Right was on, so I stopped to check it out. Next item up for bid was "An elegant, Men's watch by Rolex". It was a WG DJ with Roman Numerals. The bids were (in highest order):$1501$1500$650$1The retail price of the watch was...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................$3800!!! Can you imagine a WG DJ *new* for that $$$$? Neither can I. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the audiologist to ensure my ears are not suffering from any hearing loss.
HI,I'm interested in a EL watch with the Claro 888 movement. Does anyone know how good the watches are?How about the movement, is it accurate, reliable, with a nice "sweep"?What about the Chris ward automatics? How do the two brands compare?I'd be grateful for any information I could get.Regards,Petertb
Is it possible to find details on when a particular reference/model line was produced and find out how many examples were manufactured/distributed?Thanks.
Not usually a big fan of long in coming threads, but in this case could not help myself. I turned 40 last month. My wife and I went on a weekend vacation this past weekend, and while we were there she suggested we go in the AD, who we know and have bought multiple watches from, to just check out what they have, since 40 is a big deal apparently. I had mentioned to her that I might be interested in getting a James Cameron deep sea, and I know they¡¯ve had several in the past. She seemed amenable to that. We walked in, and were immediately met at the door with a hug by the owner we know well, who happens to be from her hometown. Anyway, he proceeds with ¡°oh my gosh, your timing is perfect. We just received a watch this morning that we ordered in April of last year, and haven¡¯t even logged it into stock yet. It is only the second one of these we have ever received¡±. When he told me what it was, I immediately thought ¡°wow, great watch, probably more than wifey would want spent on a timepie
