- This is a beautiful watch! As another reviewer mentioned, the face of the watch is rather large. It may overpower the wrist of someone petite. Other than that, this watch is awesome. I love it and so does everyone else!!!

Invicta 13050 wrist watches news:
You first heard about the Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second here on HODINKEE back in September, and the watch, as you would expect from a descendant from the original Geophysic – one of the most famous cult-collectible watches not only from JLC but of all time – generated a lot of excitement. The earlier Geophysic 1958 models, from 2014, which you can take a look at here if you need a quick refresher, were a real crowd pleaser, as you would expect from their very close resemblance to the original 1958 chronometer grade, antimagnetic (to 600 Gauss) watches made to celebrate the International Geophysical Year. The new Geophysic True Second, however, is more than just a celebration of the original – it is, as we reported at launch, very much a new interpretation of the idea of a no-nonsense, high precision, exact but unobtrusive tool watch. 1 OF 12 Two of the newest features of the new True Second, in fact, are pretty dramatically different from both t
Wombat has recently posted a thread featuring his new Pulsometer watch, which fits in very nicely with his medical profession (even if it is a bit hard to actually use for its intended purpose). This lead me to wonder, does anyone else own a watch that is designed for their profession, or ticks all the boxes for your job?An obvious example would be a diver and his diver's watch(es) - I know there are some professional or serious divers at WTF.Maybe someone who works around magnetic fields with their Rolex Milgaus.Or perhaps you work in a tough industry and need a tough watch - G-Shock, anyone? So - how about some pics of the watch that is just right for your chosen profession....or even, "This watch would be just right for my job...." if you don't happen to own it now.
I'm a watch admirer and I want to go into the second hand watch business, but I do not know where to start. I've started reading all that I can about watches to increase my knowledge base, but I don't know how to find watches that are suitable for re-sale or where to re-sale them. It should be noted that I want to do this as a hobby, a few watches a month, not as a way to earn a living. I'd appreciate any point in the right direction.
I have decided to get an Omega Seamaster to use as my daily watch. And for several weeks I have been bouncing back between the 2254 and the current SMPc model - blue dial.I have been offered a 2254 from 2002 and a lovely preowned 212.30 from 2013.Both imo are great looking watches and fit my wrist nicely.Buying both is not an option, as I don't tend to buy two of the same style watches. Here's what I think, but please forgive my amateurish approach and lack of knowledge:2254ProsNice looking dialLove the sword handsBeautifully slim caseGreat lumeETA movement - so more flexibility when it comes to be repaired.ConsOlder watch and movement212.30ProsCo-Axial movementCeramic bezelnice looking dialCurrent model, made from the latest designs and technologyConsSits slightly higher on the wristThe gloss finish on the dialColour combination of the dateThere are most likely to be a few other pros and cons for either watch which I don't know about. This would be my only dive watch and its a possibili
