Hi all. I'm new here, but I just got a hamilton that I'd like to share.I hope you'll forgive me a couple of things: first, I am no photographer. The incredible pictures of some forum members will put my first tries here to shame. Second, there are fingerprints on most of the pictures, since I was too excited to keep my grubby fingers off this watch long enough to take a photo.Let's start:Hamilton Jazzmaster Slim 43mm. It's an auto, but it's so much slimmer than my Khaki Field I doubt it's an ETA 2824-2. Resistant to 3 ATM, so I'm not taking it into a damp room. The sapphire crystal is slightly domed, like most Hamilton autos.The styling immediately hit me, because it reminds me of the simplicity of mid-60's vintage watches, but it's 43mm! Vintage watch style, with modern watch size. I like the combination. Hey guys!After an EIGHT YEAR exhaustive search I can confirm that the "ADMIRAL EVANS" trench watch cases were in FACT made in the BEHEMOTH size 12s ! ! !Just a few days ago I located one, secured it and it is now in my possession.A few years ago I obtained and restored a "CROWN" size 12s trench watch, you guys might remember that one, the resto process was NOT an easy task to say the least.But, you cannot put a size 12s Elgin, Waltham or an Illinois movement into a Philadelphia case that was made for the Crown Watch Company.The "CROWN" size 12s is way different that the Elgin, Waltham or Illinois size 12s movements, it's like trying to put the round peg in the square hole, simply won't work.On page 170 of my book "Elgin Trench Watches of the Great War" I discuss the behemoth size 12s trench watches..................Specifically the size 12s trench watch cases that were by the Illinois Watch Case Company.I knew that I had seen a size 12s Admiral Benson (square case) many years ago but a

Request: Before and After Polishing Pics
Does anyone have any pics of their PP before and after it was polished? I've been offered a 2009 Nautilus that was a daily watch, and as you can imagine the bracelet is fairly scuffed up, but the crystal has no scratched. Prior to picking making a decision I wanted to find out if sent to PP for a full service what I can expect in terms of results. Thanks.

Case back of from Thomas P from custom watch concept out of Germany, he doesn't answer emails but I purchased it anyways since there's a lot of reviews here on the TRF. My AD charged me 40.00 to install and pressure test. I love to see the movement even though it's not at AP level. It's reversible so it's no big deal to go back to OEM.
