THREE AP ICONIC WATCHES Meet for Drinks!!!
Last night I met with one of our dear TRF members in Chicago to have a few beers and let our iconic watches meet each other for the first time. I brought a few pieces including my 25721ST.0.1000ST.01 and my 15300ST. Our dear friend brought his gorgeous 25770ST.0.0001KE.01 on a black strap instead of the kevlar one. Something I've always loved about this watch besides the gorgeous kevlar strap is that the case is shaped like the 'End Of Days' and the dial is just like the EOD but in blue and gray. As you probably know, it's almost impossible to see our watches in the wild, let alone having them together at the same time. I've only seen mine twice and his three times in the last 15 years.All I can say is that it was a fun night! Beers were ice cold, pork belly sliders were warm and tasty and the chance to have all these watches together was just priceless. I like his watch so much that I don't know if I'll get a Diver or one like his next. Any thoughts? Do you think mine and his are too

I¡¯m looking at a Sub 16800 R serial number (purchaseed new in 1988) that¡¯s complete with the box, documentation, and full history. I have a couple questions.1) The braclet was replaced a few years ago with a new Rolex braclet. Should that have any effect good or bad on the value?2) Besides feeling good about the purchase is there anything else I should do to help determine an appropriate price?Thanks
