Graham Chronofighter OverSize GMT - My Review
Out of all the watches I own, and have owned, my Graham Chronofighter Oversize GMT is the one that gets the most attention and the most comments. Why? Well, just look at it: For a start it¡¯s a large timepiece even with the current fashion for oversized wristwatches. With a diameter of 47mm and a thickness of 16mm you know you have this hefty timepiece on at all times. Then there is the wonderful burnt orange colour used in several elements. More of which when we come to them. Orange is one of my favourite colours. It is also common in watch designs now, especially dive watches, because it remains legible in badly lit conditions, ie, under water.But, of course, the main reason this watch is an attention seeker is the unique design of the thumb operated chronograph start/stop pusher.Not only is this a useful function because the thumb is stronger and can react quicker than fingers (apparently) but by design it incorporates a lever mechanism which translates to less effort being required

A message on the machine
Remember this poor thing?It was the first project watch I bought, and more "before" pics are in this thread:Project Watch Club: JLC reference 2285Well, I got a phone call today from Laura at the Texas facility that the watch is finished and looks like this:I'd say they did a freakin' awesome job! The only thing I see that doesn't look exactly like the original dial is the "T" on either side of the SWISS MADE. I guess I'll have to check if there is any lume on it, but that doesn't bother me anyhow. If it looks that good in a crappy photo, I can't imagine what it will look like in person! I'm a happy WIS again. Only one thing - it's 2 months early so I had to hold up bidding on a couple vintage watches on eBay to divert the funds. Oh well, there's always more Longines and Omegas around. Plastic or glass?
I recently purchased a sizeable lot of vintage, NOS mineral/glass crystals. I'm currently looking at some decent vintage NOS lots of plastic crystals. My question is, how much would it affect the value of a watch if it has a glass crystal versus a plastic crystal, and would it deter you from buying a watch if it had a glass crystal instead of plastic? I am here looking for a review of the Luminox watch. Does anyone know what the average price of this brand can run? Also, what is the typical size of the face? The plan is to find one for my husband for his anniversary gift but he is very particular about what he wears on his wrist.

i've narrowed down a short list to the final two and would like your opinions of which of these watches is a better stylistic or visual match with the photos below.
