Now that we had time to digest the new offerings from Hamilton, if you had to choose one (yes, you have to ) which one is your favorite? For a reminder you can click on the links below.Pulsomatic X-LandingRailRoadTime Player
Hey all, need some guidance. I have a Hamilton x-wind that I've had for about 2.5 years. one of the second hands on the top timers fell off and caused all sorts of damage within the chronometer. I took it to the Swiss Watch Repair ctr here in NYC (as authorized on the Hammy website) and the damage is so bad they have to send it off to get an estimate to be repaired. So my question is this. Am I going to have to eat the repair cost? The watch isn't that old and has never, and I mean never been dropped or abused. Any advice on what this may end up costing or how better to proceed? Thanks.
There are many great things about living in the mountains, but mail delivery isn't one of them. I've been jealous of several of you who have already received and worn your new WTF watches. But I don't need to be jealous anymore, as my mailman finally came through today.Guess what my watch-of-the-day is going to be tomorrow?
I was driving back from selling my Rolex Yachtmaster to a fellow forum member (nice meeting you Dan), and I stopped at a place that buys and sells gold and estate jewelry. He happened to have a few Omega watches, on old Seamaster Deville, Seamaster Constellation, and there was a Seamaster diver. Here are the pics:The watch is pristine. The only blemish is the smallest of scratches on the clasp. It looks like someone put it away after wearing it only once. Sets up and runs strong. I noticed that the red dot on the caseback is intact. So the question is, what do I have and what would have been a reasonable price to pay? No box or papers, just the watch.
Hi Guys, Thanks for all your help thus far in my pursuit for a rubber strap for my PO. Happy to report I should have a new rubber strap next week! Reading through a couple older forums, some say that it's necessary to install the rubber strap with new spring bars. Can I not use the current spring bars I have on my stainless bracelet? One thread even said the rubber strap requires a longer spring bar. Any advice is always appreciated!Chris
