Invicta 13827 wrist watches news:
:)is there a way to identify oyster links, by measurment, any other way?I have a few and don't remember what they came from, with brushed sides yet are a hair larger than the links on my 14060M bracelet.thanks,diver88:)
I bought a Credor on Ebay. The watch comes to me from Korea. I'm tracking it on Korea Post. There are 10 entries in the tracking history beginning in Seoul and ending with the fateful entry in Honolulu..."Handed over to Customs/ Customs retention reason : Other" . Something about "Other" made me uneasy. So like a good scout I looked all over the internet for an understanding of "Other". Least informative was US Customs in Honolulu who denied ever receiveing the package. In passing, I've discovered that Customs doesn't use the world wide standard method of bar code scanning to log items passing through their lair. They keep track by hand entering the addressee's name instead. MMMM.I've discovered that every item imported from elswhere into US and worth/purchased (?) for over $200 must pay a duty fee. Items over $2000 must apply for entry (I've no idea what this means) and will be held until such application is recieved by the US Customs office holding the item captive. Sounds rath
So wasn't Omega positioned the same way in consumers minds (non-WIS) that Rolex was way back when? I want to say there was some footing lost along the way. Anybody know? Please consider I am speaking with regards to brand strength and/or Marketing.
I have the 422. GREAT watch. Felt it perhaps was not a great daily wearer though. A bit big and flashy for my line of work. The leather straps are just tough to work with in the Florida summer heat, at the beach, playing golf. The 422 looks wrong to me on the rubber strap. A great nighttime, weekend watch or for days when not exposed to the elements. So, I wanted a second watch and re-purchased (arrgh) the one I always regretted letting go, the GMTIIC. Will be my daily wearer and I hope will allow me to appreciate even more strapping on the 422 whenever I can. The GMTIIC came via a great transaction at the Rolex boutique, Millenia Mall in Orlando. Considered the black and blue bezel but that color combo just does not do anything for me. Pic is of my old one.
Recently got a daydate 40mm yellow gold with a silver dial. Was wondering what is the proper way to wear it. A little snug or loose? I don’t want it looking flimsy because of the status of the watch you know. Almost makes me feel like I’m disrespecting it haha.
