Invicta 7039 wrist watches news:
I have talked further with the seller of the watch I showed at the start of this thread, and the price has improved somewhat, but it's still pretty steep. I may have to sell something to justify buying it. With regard to the different styles of hands used on the 2998 models, MSN, or others, is there a hard and fast rule as to which models had the "lollipop" sweep second hand or the sub dial hands that are tapered? I have seen the lollipop pictured with a few different versions, and I suspect many have been installed recently. I'd like to see one of those lollipops with working lum operating in the dark. It must quite a sight to see that glowing ball moving around the dial.
Can someone help me identify what year & model this is. I think it's between 71-75' and came from Europe. I got this when I was a kid back around 77' from my grandfather. I recently got it working again. New second hand sweep, crown & crystal. It is a self winding, quick set day date calendar. The gold electro plate is pretty much gone. I think the watch tech said it was a Felsa movement. Thanks for the help,Odin
How come we don't have a nice pic of a Hammie topping our Forum??????
great avatar! it looks like the starbucks mermaid holding a couple of six shooters. is that correct?
Can somebody tell me the weights of the ROC vs. RO, or maybe the weight difference? Also, how differently do the clasps fit on the wrist? I have pretty flat wrists. Removing 1 link on the 26300 fits perfectly. Thanks!
