- This is a great watch from that anyone will love. This is a quartz version of the popular series, which also comes in an automatic movement. I chose the quartz because I'd rather not worry about wearing it every day to keep it wound and I wasn't really interested in getting a watch winder. The watch has a sporty look with a rotating bezel and a classic blue background. It's classy enough that you can wear it with a nice suit but sporty enough that you can wear it every day. Additionally, it's extremely durable, with a difficult to scratch sapphire crystal and tough construction. Finally, [WEB] has an outstanding price on this item.

Hey guys...so I'm trying to make my collection as diverse as possible and am thinking my next watch will be either an automatic or kinetic. I've been researching both and understand one uses movement to charge a battery and the other uses movement to wind a spring. I wanted to ask you all what you prefer...is one better than the other in your experience? I like that many Kinetics have a power reserve meter so I'm kind of leaning toward those. This is a watch I'd wear weekly and I don't plan on getting a winder or anything like that...that's a bit too high maintenance for me. :) Also if you don't mind...what brands do you recommend? I'm realy digging Seikos at the moment. Thanks as always for your help and comments.
When im out and about i like to watch spot as i guess you all do but i like to think of the equivalent car for the watch.E.g. A Rolex GMT Master II YG as a ferrari 458 Spyder or a SLS ///AMG Mercades.look at your favourite watch and and put what you think the equivilant car for it would be.This is baised on looks and price
Really excited that I am fortunate enough to own my first PP. Big thanks to a good friend's guidance and help in order to acquire this watch, and I couldn't be any happier!!Owning a Patek has always been a grail, and lately all the enabling here in the PP sub-forum is out of control!! (in a good way ). I'm just glad that I can now help enable others I always thought I would pick up an AC Patek when and if I purchase my first PP, as I love moonphases and the 5205g is one of my favorites since it was first released. And then I sort of wavered to something more dressy, like a 5396g or a 5227r. However, through all the enabling (I am looking at you Ken (HL65) and Ben's epic post), as well as others, it pointed me to a model that I never really looked at too closely before...the aquanaut. I fell in love with the 5167r, and so, here it is at last! I got home quite late today so only took a few quick pics to share. Will definitely post some more pics when I get a chance. The Patek box h
