First I want to thank a few people, They know who they are! Here are photo's of my new Omega Seamaster from an AD. I purchased it yesterday and received it today. Another grail is off of my list. Here is my new Omega Speedmaster Bond series. The photos are not that great, I am in the middle of seeting up two laptops for my daughters, So more photos to follow.
The title says it all, looking for a role call.
I love my MP7108 Open Heart LE. Wound it full a few times recently to track the reserve and averaged 46.5 hours. Share yours if you like!
Evening allAnyone care to share an opinion on the classic nautilus 3700 compared to the modern 5711? I've read a few things online and I'm aware of a few of the major differences (movement, case construction, second hand on the 5711, dial color, print on dial) but just wanted to hear some opinions.I've always loved vintage...LOVE. And though I've never experienced a 3700 in person, I'm sure it is marvelous. Still, as I finalize my purchase of a 5711 tomorrow, I haven't been able to justify the extra 14K or so needed to get a 3700. I'm curious...Do you guys feel, from a wear and/or investment standpoint, one wins over the other?
