Oris Great Barrier Reef Diver Limited Edition Watch
This is the new limited edition Oris sub seconds diver made to help out the Great Barrier Reef. Each watch that is sold will have Oris donating 50 Swiss Francs (that's it?) to the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS). Didn't anyone tell Oris they don't use Swiss Francs in Australia! I joke! The money will go to help keep creatures in the Great Barrier Reef alive. Basically, there are a lot of serious issues with the reef and rather than help preserve certain areas, the project is going to relocate animals. A brave endeavor indeed. "Little fish! Sign these papers, you don't live here anymore." Now get out of herewe are gonna take you to a better placeYea, a much better place (chuckle)."The back 0f the watch doesn't have an engraving, but rather a special plate to honor each of the 1000 pieces in the limited edition set. Just bought a vintage Breitling stopwatch which is in excellent condition apart from the crystal ( which I think is plastic). Does anyone know where I can get a replacement glass ? Thanks.

This roller table has no jewel and the second hand don't move.......
Just received an Illinois 17jewel 2421575 16s pocket watch. Bought to repair. I'm new at this but being retired phone company splicer I got to try this stuff. The issue is shaking to start the bal wheel the secondhand isn't moving neither will the escape wheel. So I pulled the regulator cock to look at the staff for a possible missing roller jewel. I find that either the hole in the table takes a jewel which means shellac to fix OR NOT HOW THIS WATCH connects to the pallet fork. Can anyone verify that on observation of the hole in the table will take the similar size pin that sticks up from the fork? It looks like the male/female mating together of these two parts is the system and the fork is not the type that a jewel on the table must connect to it. The thing is if the pinions of the staff were properly secured how could the pin get loose from the table?Could someone have tried to repair one problem and caused another?My question is.Do I install the balance wheel by getting the fork

I bought a 1967 Brietling Top Time model 2002 from a friend of my father last year, its stainless steel with a round silver face and two sub dials for the chronograph. Have had it serviced and a new glass fitted it looks quite smart & keeps good time. It would be nice to have a correct box for it but as yet no one has been able to tell me what shape or colour the box should be, so does anybody out there have any ideas ? or has anybody got a 1960's brieting with the original box that they could send me a photo of.
