- This is a great watch. The look is elegant and classic. The swiss Ronda 5030 movement is second to none in accuracy. The dial is beautiful. This is truely a luxury watch at an affordable price.

I have been trying to get my hands on as many Hamiltons as I can afford........and this is the latest .......it for sure needs a new crystal.....and I have yet to see how well it runs as the first thing I did after I took incoming photos, was to remove the nasty band that was on it .....and I have just finished traisping through the catalogs looking to see what model it is .....and I think......it's a K-419 from 1961.......it is very hard to tell a real watch from a drawing ...so I am hoping if I am off the mark that someone will steer me right .....I do quite like the 2 toned dial ....., and while it's not in the greatest condition, from the type it is ...it's gonna stay the way it is .....the texture looks to be a costly redial.....perhaps a new crystal will make a big difference ......this was taken after I thought I cleaned it really well.......wrong ......but here's where I started .....and this is after at least an hour of cramping my fingers I was gonna show a couple more ....bu

What's inside your watch ?
I have always liked watches but always chose on looks, if it appealed to me I bought it regardless of brand. My grandfathers watch which was his 45 year gift from the company he worked for when he retired was always something special to look at, it was a gold Longines. I used to love trying it on, the only time this watch ever stopped was when my grandfather passed away. It is now in a drawer in an envelope in my fathers home and I have not seen it taken out in maybe 30 years and never worn. So for me as a kid growing up in the late 60's and early 70's it was Timex and then later on I came across my first love, my father had met this agent from Ricoh watches and he allowed us have a watch each for ¡ê10. God knows where it is now. After that I just trickled along choosing on looks never price, all sorts of cheap digital watches came and went. But since I got my first few vintage watches a few months ago and opened their case back and saw the beauty inside I was hooked again, the feeling

Calendar Change on PO 2200.51???!
I just purchased a BNIB PO XL yesterday. At midnight I noticed that the calendar doesn't change with a quick snap like on Rolexes, APs or other brands. Last night I noticed that the calendar wheel started to advance downwards around 11:30ish just a little bit and then switched with a quick snap at midnight. Is this normal or it should've just snapped at midnight without any minor advancing?Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!

I'm thinking of servicing my yachtmaster and perhaps others after 13 years of ownership. The AD, Benari in Exton, PA I recently landed an SD43 from has in house capabilities. I'd kinda prefer to use them as I feel my salesman Joel is quite knowledgeable and and great to deal with and feel like I can give detail direction plus i think it would be turned around quicker. My sense is that if I bring to NYC they will tend to do what they think needs to be done and decide on their own. Am I way off?This would be a trial run for my Kermit as it scares me to send it in and have them switch the bezel, all though it's in great shape, or something I didn't direct them to do like maybe polish it. My yatchmaster and Kermit are running great but feel it may be time for a preemptive general tune up. I guess I'm due but part of me also thinks why mess with it and the expense. I would like a polish and spa treatment on my YM though and hence my desire to send it in. So I'm looking for general thou
