Invicta 6895 wrist watches news:
.......I decided to give my watch a facelift.Went to the local auto part store to get the material, (Platinum paint) and a few Hr's later it looks like this.Am I the first to have a platinum sub..??
My search for Hamilton's has made me decide to visit a watch fair here in The Netherlands. There were a lot of (especially!) French and German dealers. (As a big Elvisfan I saw the same watch that Elvis wore in 1956. I knew it was a Lord Elgin but I could never figure out what model. Today I learned it was a "Direct Read" and known as The Tank. "Our German Friend" had an asking price of a whopping 850 euro's.Much to my surprise I could hardly find any Hamiltons. Only a handfull and none of them Electric. Dealers told me that they are hard to find! I guess this is because it is of American origin, and not many made it to Europe. However I did find a Pacer. The guy who is selling it says that the movement was damaged beyond repair. This is the reason why he has replaced it with a quartz movement. (It is his own watch, which he has worn for about two years).Personally speaking the reason why I like Hamilton so much is because of the beautiful designs of Richard Arbib. So it does not matter
Hello allNew member here from England. I wonder if anyone could help me?I have a small ladies watch with the name ' Beuche Girod' on its face. It is a Quartz and the movement just says 'one jewel...unadjusted.. France'I dont know how to tell if it is a genuine one, and if anyone can advise me , it would be appreciated. Thanks
I wonder why Omega don't switch the orange bezel of PO8500 from film to ceramic?? I used to think that their technology couldn't make it but the Limited Orange PO GMT proof that they have technology, so why are they still leaving the bezel of this model film? Anybody know?
if anyone has tried this, please post a photo. thanks.
