- Would have liked the watch to have been made in the US. For the price, it was made in China.

Invicta 6130 wrist watches news:
Hi everyone,I was doing some searching through the forum for info on using one's SMP for water activities. Now I know it's a dive watch, but last year I had to have mine overhauled because there were spots on the underside of the crystal. They were faint, but similar in appearance to water spots you might get on your windshield. There was no rust in the movement or anywhere else, so I have no idea how it could have happened. These days I may swim or snorkel with my SMP but I'm still a bit skittish. Years ago when I used to dive I had a Seiko auto and never had a problem, even at 100+ feet down. I have read that swimming might be bad due to the pressure created by the hand entering the water with force. How tightly do you guys screw down your crown/helium valve? Again, any thoughts or advice is much appreciated.
A. Lange & Sohne 1815. 35.9mm,manual wind and keeps great time. I love it!
I now have a watch winder and put an old seiko kinetic in there. After a day, nothing had happened, it wasn't ticking. Are winders not supposed to be used to wind watches that havs stopped? Do then need a "jump start"?I would also like to say that this watch does have problems keeping it's energy up. If I wear it, after about two weeks it stops. In the shop they say that the "generator" is fine, but that it needs to be cleaned, but still, I thought it would start with the winder...
005.jpg001.jpgHi Rick, I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on the rust in my Eterna movement. Last week I took it to a local watchmaker to have it cleaned, and he called me back an told me it was pretty rusty. He said there wasnt any he could do. Could the rust be removed from the movement? Is it worth trying to save the watch or should i just take it as a loss and look for another one?
Love my daytonas and would love to add a 6263 to my collection. I had a few opportunities to acquire one but now feel I am priced out of the market with the crazy price increases. I was just to picky with what I wanted and now feel I missed out. Anyone else get that sick feel of shoulda coulda woulda? Sorry... just ranting!
