Invicta 11017 wrist watches news:
Yesterday I acquired an extremely fine condition Omega DeVille Prestige (Caliber 1532) with all the original packaging. It is in a stainless case with gold bezel and two tone bracelet. According to the Omega Vintage pages on their website, the Caliber 1532 was introduced in the 1994 DeVille and the 1995 Constellation. Identifying it was easy of course. My question is, how many years was the Caliber 1532 used in the DeVille Prestige?Another find yesterday was a solid 18K gold Omega ??. It has a Caliber 266 movement with a serial # of 14581123 (1954). The caseback has some warn markings in a group that are difficult to read completely.Line 1 - 750 in a rectangle (We know what that means)Line 2 - 277 18K (the 2 is very faint but is probably a 2)Line 3 - DUSTRIA (the D could be an O but I doubt it)Line 4 - CENTINA (the A is very faint)The face is white with thin rectangular gold markers. There is the usual Omega symbol and word under the 12 position and an annotated small seconds dial at t
G'day All, I'm looking at buying my first Yankee watch. I would prefer a diver but could go a Chrono, any suggestions. I have no clues as to what is available, Something in the $200 range if possible. Hope this doesn't star a war.

I've always fancied a Hercules and recently this one's come into my possession. Quite an impressive watch I must say. Really solid feel and, I hope you agree, a beautiful white dial (apologies for the iPad photo). I don't think many were made and, at the time, I think these were Breitlings biggest model coming in at 45.5mm diameter. I'm not that familiar with chronos and I'd be grateful if anyone could explain the lower middle sub dial which, unusually, has what looks like a minute hand and an hour hand. Also, when the re-set button is pushed the left subdial (24hr?) doesn't seem to zero, I wonder if it is supposed to. The main hand set consists of the usual second, minute and hours hand but there's a fourth hand with a small red arrow that seems to track the minute hand but I'm not sure of it's function. Any enlightenment will be much appreciated.
I have been fighting the Speedy urge for some time now and weakness is getting to me. I tried one on yesterday and can't help but think it must be my next watch, whenever that is. The thing is, I really want something that I don't have to wear with a bracelet, and I prefer zulu's or nato's to leather straps. I was just wondering if anyone has a pic. of a speedy on a 2 piece Zulu, the reason behind the 2 piece is that I love the clear case back and would not want to cover it up. Thanks in advance.
