- I bought this bracelet as the Special of the day. I have it in the silvertone with peacock drusy. It is absolutely beautiful. Wore it to work and everyone loved it. The fact that it is also a watch is a plus.

Wildlife ¡ª from starfish to birds to tigers ¡ª is a popular theme in this year's watches with decorative and artistic dials, particularly in Cartier's Cartier d'Art series and Vacheron Constantin's Mtiers d'Art collection. We've compiled a gallery of timepieces from the two brands so you can download these miniature masterpieces for your desktop ¡ª at a size that does justice to their intricately executed dials. Baume & Mercier's new Clifton collection brings together vintage styling and affordable pricing in watches that when you see them, you want to wear them. It can be hard to find well-executed, complicated watches at prices that don't make most guys' eyes water, so we decided to take the Clifton 10057 Complete Calendar, which comes in under $5,000, for a spin. Introduction To The Calendar Watch There are a lot of brands today focused on shaving time into ever-finer slivers with record-breaking chronographs and new balance technology, but long before that was even a possibility, people were building calendars into their timepieces. In fact, as you might expect, measuring these longer intervals of time predates any sort of hours/minutes clock by millennia (literally). 2 OF 30 Breguet Carriage Clock Calendar I won't go into the history of counting the seasons or tracking the harvest here (that's a story for another time), but we can
By this I mean the advanced research 5650G, I love it, unfortunately my AD's is already going to another client, and anyways can't justify getting another watch this year, the 5711 and Daytona will have already done a dent in my watch budget, but not too big, but the Vouti has been paid upfront 70% and still need to add 30% to get that bad boy, so adding the 30% plus 52.000 CHF for the Aquanaut on top is quite impossible this year, too bad as I really find it very interesting. How do you guys like it?https://.hodinkee/articles/th...anced-research
I can't believe I'm spending this much on a watch. But I'm a big guy- 6'4 and have other watches but I gravitate towards the best. There is little doubt that Patek is at the top of the heap when it comes to the world of watches.I've always worn larger watches- 42-44mm but have loved the style of Patek. Anytime I wanted to buy a Patek, I'd have an internal battle over buying their 39 and 40mm watches.I got a 5980 last year and while not a true 44mm, I really got used to the size. I sold my AP Grand Prix and some other pieces to make some room in the collection as my love for all things Patek deepend.I kept my eye out for the elusive Grail- a larger Patek that didn't cost upwards of 750k. A month ago my AD called and said they had a 5524- the Pilots watch. I declined as it was not a good time in my life as I was going through some busy time at work. But I regret that decision to this day. A Patek that is large and frankly I like the style of it.However I digress- fast forward
