- THE WATCH IS VERY NICE, BUT THE WATCH BAND IS FOR A TINY PERSON. MY HUSBAND IS NOT A GUY AND THE WATCH BARELY FIT. I KEPT THE WATCH AND WILL REPLACE THE BAND.

Vacheron Constantin 87172/000R-9302 wrist watches news:
This new watch from Edox ain't half bad, however, it just might irritate Audemars Piguet with the Chrono-offshore name. I know it is supposed to be Chronoffshore but I want it to have an extra "o" so badly. Edox has been playing with their chronograph sport pieces for a while - some really hit and some really miss. This one is certainly a good looker with mostly black and silvery white mixed in with a little blue. Not the first watch Edox made in its place as the official timekeeper of Class-1 powerboat racing, this new model is clearly the best. You see how I've placed an image here of one of the Class-1 boats. These aren't for stately wind-powered yacht races, these are all engine. The new Chronoffshore watch comes in a 43mm wide PVD black steel case that is water resistant to 500 meters. We've seen this case before but it still looks good, especially with its large pushers. It is hard to understand what the bezel looks like in real-life given these images. It is black on black? Black
...and bezel won!Felt my watch nick the edge of my desk, not hard at all.Saw this, about 3 mm long, and a corresponding small glass chip on my chair. No marks of any type on the bezel. Tough ceramic!
Hi All,Stepping away from the Rolex boards to make my first post here in Omega World. Simply, I'm trying to get some info on a watch I own.I was given this by my grandmother a year after my grandfather died. It was 1978 and I was 12 years-old. Since then it's spent most of its life in a safe deposit box. Now it's back on my wrist, and I've just been very curious to know what I've got here. It's got an 18K Gold stamp between the lugs, and that's about it. It hasn't been opened, so I'm afraid I can't get the serial number. But, knowing what year and any other details would be helpful. Also, I need to fill out my home owners insurance items, so an appraisal (even ballpark) would be great. Thanks so much, guys!
I am looking to purchase an Omega Seamaster 300M AUTOMATIC GMT 2234.50.00. However, the watch seems to have been discontinued. Does anyone know about how much I can expect to pay for such a watch and where I can purchase one? Thanks
AD called me and said they had a Hulk if I wanted it, I decided on the spot to take it, received it today.Current collection stands as a SubC Date, white dial DaytonaC, & now a Hulk. Thing is, I work for a tech company... most people in my office or meetings I attend wear smart watches, so only the SubC gets wrist time, as the DaytonaC would be out of place (even the SubC is a little much in most situations, but whatever, it is the watch I wear everyday).I was chasing down a Sky-Dweller, which I'll take when I get the call. I understand, I should wear everything, but that isn't the topic at hand - I like watches, even if it is just having them in my house/safe/possession, and not being worn frequently, so not looking to get into that. Current opinion I'm asking about, given my situation, is having the SubC & Hulk too redundant?
