Invicta 7109 wrist watches news:
Some of you may remember this post here:http://www.watchtalkforums.info/foru...htm#post563323Well I have been waiting for this rare piece to arrive, probably the earliest American wristwatch in my collection, and among the earliest timepieces from American wristwatch history.Up to a few days ago, I was pretty sure that the earliest men's wristwatches were 1916, but thanks to Stan Anthony Czubernat, we now have evidence of 'adverts' (not actual timepieces) as early as 1913!!Anyway, here I want to show you my latest and most interesting purchase, its a 1917 Hampden Offset Crown and 12 at 3 o clock. This company was also called the Dueber-Hampden Watch CompanyThis watch numbers among the earliest of American wristwatches. Serial No: 3,347,688 dating it to 1917.The case: A very unusual case style by (Dueber Watch Case co, signed only Silverine, which means Nickel), design for a belt strap to slide neatly under the 3 piece case, 3 piece.Using a ‘Lepine’ movement and ultra rare

Well I finally posted my first photos and thanks to those who posted tips. I found them helpful. I found that once a photo is in photobucket it is really easy to postall one has to do is start a post, go to photobucket, click on the picture and copy the the url (the last line in photobucket) and then paste in the post.Beyond having a good camera and tripodsomething I need or I need to start bypassing Starbucks is there an article here in the forum on how to take GOOD photos? The flash glare that washes out colors, or adds a color, seems to be my biggest problem in my pictures. Taking pictures of "lume" is also another trick I would like to learn as my attempt resembles a blurry UFO looking photo.Thanks.
So, I am in Miami for two weeks with my wife and kids and of course watch watching and shopping is a must. Yesterday at my hotel Fontainebleau there is a watch store which I have purchased from before, they had a bunch of AP, mainly the one I have been thinking about is the 44 rose gold, 26401 which I have been on my mind. Love it....but then I went to the AP boutique at Bal Harbor tonite and they have all the new releases including the new 44 rose gold....I can't decide! The difference is that the older version can be had for about 10k cheaper. What to do!!!!?!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
