Dang another new guy
Well since it¡¯s introduction day¡ I will introduce myself too. Hi all I¡¯m Rob from Dallas. I was always interest in watches just never the expensing ones, well that was till I bought my first on a cruise in the Caribbean. I bought a Tag Heuer from a AD in Belize. Next I had this old 1970 Accutron Cusion Case Spaceview my brother gave me 20 years ago.. didn¡¯t work hence I got it. Started some research and low and behold it¡¯s a cool watch to have. Anyhow a few watches later I now need to get a second job .

New member, first post!! Thought i would start by doing something good and something most rather everyone in the forum would find hard to believe.. although i cant be 100% sure, i am more than confident that the prices of new Rolex watches in India are right now the CHEAPEST IN THE WORLD!!! The initial lower prices overall, poor currency exchange rates, good discounts to be had from ADs were always there.. This deal has just been made sweeter by government reducing the taxes to 18% from 28%, bringing the prices down a further 8%..If anyone has plans to visit India sometime sooner or would like to know at what prices they can get the watches here, I shall be more than happy to assist..Hope my first post becomes of use to fellow TRF members.. cheers..

Sorry for the silly question.just picked up a SD43...and when the watch is in the box..the box does not close, it has a 5 to 6mm gap.? the watch intrude the closure, and the cyclops left a imprint in the box.is the box just for displaying the watch ( i.e stays open) or is it suppose to store the watch..?got kind of rushed getting out of the store and noticed when i got home..i know it s 1st world problem, but since i paid over 5 digits for the watch..i expect things to be perfect. not that the watch will spend that much time in the boxit seems to be the proper box...i am putting the watch face up( may be there is another way)Thanks, people...
