- This watch is so striking. I bought the white and the black. They are both lovely and very comfortable to wear. I love the green stones in the white one as emerald is my birthstone but the black watch is a perfect evening out watch.

Maurice Lacroix AF17799 15827 wrist watches news:
Thought I'd try my hand a vintage watches. Not sure exactly what I won, but best I can tell, it is a Benrus Citation from the 40s. Maybe.Pictures from the auction. Supposed to have a NOS crystal and more than likely the dial has been redone. When I get it, I'll post more pictures. If you have a better idea of what it is, let me know.It wasn't too expensive, and made it easy to dip my toes into the water.Screen Shot 2013-09-07 at 8.07.11 PM.jpgScreen Shot 2013-09-07 at 8.07.32 PM.jpg

I saw this on the Omega facebook page today. I think it looks fantastic. I guess facebook is good for something.
Hey everyone... the recent uptick of posts on the 5164 and 5712 (not to mention the incomings) had me zeroed in on one of the two as my next timepiece. I thought the 5164 would be a great travel companion (live in Tokyo, office in SoCal) and a good stable-mate to my 5146g. I have tried on the 5164 multiple times but never seen a 5712 in the metal. There was just something about the 5712 that I loved. Imagine my surprise when I happened on the AD in SLC last week and they had both available. My head told me that the 5164 should be the next acquisition ... Much more utilitarian with my line of work. But my heart fell for the 5712 - I was always intrigued with the design, but seeing it in the metal was even better. Couldn't afford both - dratt ! - so slept on it a night and decided ... to go ... with my ... HeartNot an ounce of regret - love, love, love the 5712!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
