Michele MWW02M000003 wrist watches news:
Zodiac is quickly becoming a brand that all affordable watch enthusiasts should pay attention to. For those unfamiliar, Zodiac has a long, storied history. They were major innovators for a time, and had the quartz crisis never happened, could have been one of the major brands today. But, it did happen and the brand got swept away like so many others, only to be bought and sold and bought again years later. Now owned by Fossil, a small team within the larger company is taking back the name and reestablishing the brand by re-imagining their iconic watches. We've seen a few pieces from them in the last year or so, namely the very stylish Sea Dragon we reviewed a few months ago, which impressed us with its build and finish quality. But the watches we've been waiting for were the Sea Wolfs…and they are finally here. The Sea Wolf is Zodiac's most iconic watch. First released in 1953, it's one of the original modern dive watches, sharing the honor with the likes of the Blancpain Fifty Fa
I haven't posted on here for ages, mainly as I've been working all over the world. My Omega Planet Ocean LE developed a problem after less than a year of owning it, I jumped into a swimming pool and it leaked. It was sent back to Omega and they kept it for just under 6 months, then returned it to me repaired.A few months later I noticed condensation inside the screen, so I unscrewed the crown and left it to dry, which seemed to work.Fast forward until just two months outside of the two year warranty.I was working in the Caribbean, noticed it wasn't keeping great time and tried to adjust it...but the crown and stem had rusted and I couldn't alter the time. Now fair enough I like to dive and usually I'm in the ocean most days but isn't it supposed to be a dive watch? To cut a long story short Omega have had it now for 3 months and I was just informed I have to pay the repair bill myself.I own two Omegas and was already planning a third but my money will now go to IWC or Rolex. I've heard too
Every now and then, I daydreamed. And today I dreamed (again) that one day I will be able to afford to enter the WOSTEP school and finally take up my basic training course! Do any of you considered going or have gone?? The Basic course is CHF35,000 which includes tuition, basic accommodation and train tickets to factories. It is a 32,000 hour course, spanning over 2 years. There is, however, a 2 day test which you must pass before starting the actual course proper. Books and tool kits are an additional CHF 2800. That translates to SGD40,000. And I am excluding inflation rate here!! the closest accreditation I got are these two.
I spotted this on a friend and really like it, he actually offered to sell me it or trade me. How much is it worth, with all papers boxex and why can't I find any of it online. This was last night and I was very sleepy so it's one of the following just not sure which one. :) What I do remember is that the dial was a creamy ivory color not a white dial. More like the one below with the black sub dials.Any of the two special or rare? One worth more that the other?Om1.JPGOm2.jpg
Good morning. I would really appreciate some opinions from you all. I own a GMT 16710 with Pepsi insert. No original papers but I have had it serviced and the RSC warranty card does note it as a BLRO. I have read recently that maybe they were all sold ¡®the same¡¯ which was new to me. Thing is I absolutely love the watch BUT... since buying a PP 5712 I am thinking of trimming down a little- My sub c now feels big and heavy and barely worn.DJ41 never gets a look in so sellingI really want to keep a black bezel sports Rolex but maybe just one. The 5 digit subs really do sing to me but I hate the clasp, much prefer the GMT clasp. The question is, do I sell up and keep my GMT but get a black bezel insert instead? I know prices have gone through the roof so I am wondering if it worth trying to find a black or just change mine as I am not as in love with the blue/red as I was. Or get a 5 digit sub and swap the bracelet. I think I want the aim to be 2 watches you see. The Nautilus and a play Ro
