Hublot Joins Team Alinghi for 2010 America’s Cup Defense
Hublot and Alinghi announced yesterday that Hublot has committed to support Alinghi’s campaign in the 33rd America¡¯s Cup. Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver (photo right) joined Alinghi team president Ernesto Bertarelli at Alinghi’s training base in Genoa, Italy for the announcement. Alinghi will defend against the challenger, Larry Ellison’s BMW Oracle yacht, in the waters off Ras al-Khaimah, UAE, beginning on February 8, 2010. Hublot has always had close links with the world of yachting – through its name, which means ‘porthole’ in French, through its partnerships with prestigious sailing clubs such as Yacht Club Monaco and Real Club Nautico de Palma, and through sponsorship deals with numerous races and yachts. I've recently grown interested in Seiko's spring drive watches. I have checked many online retailers only to find all but one do not carry the SD. I went to the Seiko SD website and checked for retailers, discovering that there seems to be limited distribution. Anyone know why?TIA

while on the hunt to purchase my black Oris Diver date i realized that recently oris has made some slight changes to the tt1.about 3 months ago i got the official pic at oris website, and then looking at it again i noticed that the watch looked different from the pic i had, i was lucky to have the pic saved so now i can compare both. this mean that the changes were recently made.here is a comparison pic, of both, left [new] and right [old]look at the bezel and hands, they have been uprated.here are a comparison from real pics [pics from the seller]the bezel has some dots and the hands are bolder.did you knew about this?did you like the new version?i ordered mine yesterday, i told the seller that he must ship the new version.

hi, this is my first post, and I am going to ask something that has been bugging me for a long time.I have been looking for an automatic swiss made chronograph with a clear case back for a long time with no luck.I know victorinox makes a few excellent watches of this kind, however, I am looking for something a little higher up. (maybe $2K and up?)I also know Hublot has some, but I would like to see other options.yes, this is a search for my dream watchthanks very much

My 3rd AP here!
I was trying to decide between the AP Royal Oak Chrono Pride of Italy or Blue Boutique edition. I ended up with the former. They have been harder to come by of recent. I have always been attracted to the white dial and blue sub dials and accents. The dial is just beautiful. the rubber strap and somewhat cheap deployment buckle is the negative. Thus I have a bracelet on order. Would like a clear caseback --- but I knew that going into it...
