Invicta 12140 wrist watches news:
While Bulova/Accutron made many killer divers in the 1960’s and 1970’s, the dual crown Deep Sea has to be the coolest kid on the block.? Sure, there’s the Bulova Super Compressors, and Accutron made several awesome Deep Sea and Snorkel models, but none are quite as bold as the Deep Sea.This Deep Sea model looks like a Super Compressor with its dual crowns and rotating inner divers bezel, but it is not. The Super Compressors were of course made by EPSA and had a specialized proprietary water sealing design in addition to the iconic inner rotating bezel. Several companies in the 1960’s and 1970’s cashed in on the popularity of this design, and one of them was Accutron, who really did a bang up job. This baby is a big ol’ chunk of solid stainless steel, measuring in at just over 41mm wide by 45mm long, with 20mm lugs. With its giant superdome thick acrylic crystal, it measures 14.5mm thick. Over all, this watch really has wrist presence. The case is clas
Hello, it's been a while, a long while with other things in life. Still love watches just been busy. So here is the situation, I have (2) subs 16610 & 16613 and an ExpII. All purchased in 1995, yeah, big watch year for me. So a co-worker of my wife decides to pick a new 116610 for her 10 anniversary gift from her employer (yeah, they get a Rolex at 10 years). She got it to sell it, she does not like watches. So, I have a 10 yr old 11610 in MINT condition, do I sell it and get the 116610? Since I have been out of the market for years I am not sure if this makes sense. She is willing to sell it to me for $6800-7000 US. retail is $8500, so about 20% off. The warrenty is in her name 5/2015. I have the watch in my safe, it's unworn. What's the current street for a F 16610 in mint contition with all the paperwork? Thanks guys.
Just picked this up........
The chronograph is one of the most popular complications. Whether timing eggs, the parking meter, a sales meeting, or you ascent up a mountain, a chronograph is a cool complication. Many have interesting bezels, from pulsometers, telemeters, tachometers, etc.So lets see some Chronos:1. So, I travel quite a bit for work, and am only home for a few days before I am away for months at a time. I got home yesterday, and the wife and kid had two presents for me, early Fathers Day gifts, since I might not make it home before then. A Seiko Orange Monster, and a Tag Formula 1. Not a bad day.
