Well, I finally did it. I just purchased my "holy grail" watch. A WW2 era Benrus Sky Chief chrono. Pretty much the same as you see in my avatar. I'm really excited with this purchase guys, because while I've been collecting vintage Benrus watches for quite sometime now, it's always been the Sky Chief that I really wanted. It's the only chrono Benrus ever made, and this one is all-original and looks quite nice for being about 70 years old now. Many of them have quite a history behind them, like being used by pilots on actual missions over Europe during the war. I'm not sure of the history of this particular one, but I'm going to look into it and see if I can find something. Thanks to my wonderful wife and fortunate finances, this watch will be my Fathers Day/Birthday gift combined. It's now the most expensive piece I own!Well, here are some of the sellers pics.
