I had been thinking, for the past several days, that I needed to get my Citizen Eco-Drive out of it's box and expose it to some sunlight to make sure that it retained it's charge. My concern was that after not having worn it in probably a month-and-a half or so, the charge would be falling off a bit and I didn't want to create a situation where I would have to start from a zero charge position. What struck me when I took it out and looked to see how much time it may have lost after being boxed up for so long, I was shocked to see that it hadn't lost any time whatsoever, and was only 3 seconds faster than the time on my computer!! I was already in love with this watch , and knew it to be one of the highest quality of craftmanship, fit, and finish for it's price point, but the accuracy of this timepiece is simply astounding!! Even if it has a quartz movement, this Eco-Drive is awesome, and I have nothing but praise for the quality that Citizen puts into their watches!!
Dear allI own the Longines Avigation Maxi Limited Edition (291/500), ref. L2.639.4.* Based on my knowledge, it should host a Longines proprietary movement, the caliber L878 16?-line (formerly Longines L550 or L37.9?).* If this is true, does anyone have more details about this movement i.e. pictures, information sheets, etc.?* How did Longines revamp such an old caliber?*I am also very passionate about Longines vintage watches.* The caliber L878, if I¡¯m not mistaken, should have the small second hand located at the 6 o¡¯clock position or at least a central second hand, that would be also more traditional for a pilot watchMy Avigation Maxi Limited Edition though, places the small second at the 9 o¡¯clock position.* Does this represent a modern re-adjustment to the original caliber design?*bit strange, also consideing that the 180 years pocket watch, which hosts the same caliber, has the small second at 6 o'clock...I would be surprised of two different modern re-editions of th

Should my 14060m be regularly wound? It's my daily watch that I don't ever take off long enough for it to stop. I haven't wound it in months. It loses about 10 seconds a day. Could it perhaps run more accurately if I kept it wound?-AustinSent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
